This 1947 home had seen updates in the ’60s and ’80s and was ready for some new millennium updating before going on the market. The family wanted to maximize the return on their investment as the proceeds from the sale will help with healthcare costs for their matriarch.
Working closely with their realtors, Anthony & Maria Cassel, we identified ways to bring the home up to modern standards in a way that would appeal to buyers in today’s competitive market. By opening up the kitchen to the living and dining rooms; opening up the master bed and bathroom and creating a new bedroom and lounge downstairs, the home went from a dark 2 bedroom/2 bath to a bright and open 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home. The updated sunroom now turns the master bedroom into a full suite. Enhanced indoor/outdoor connections in the master and the dining room add even more to the expansive feeling throughout the home.
