Utilizing passive-solar design and cross-laminated timber construction, this mixed-use infill development embraces a forward-thinking, sustainable, less car-centric vision for the Tahoe basin. This exciting project will provide 21 hotel rooms, 9 condominiums, a restaurant, community plaza, conference facility and roof-top bar in the heart of the town center immediately adjacent to the park and beach.
The design team is working closely with park services to provide much-needed shared amenities such as kayak storage, bike parking, equipment rental, outdoor performance space and a toddler play area. The parking garage is designed for future conversion to commercial space as bike paths and shuttle, ride-share, and car-share services reshape the basin.
The design celebrates the rich history and natural splendor of the area while seamlessly introducing new vitality and sophistication into the fabric of the region.
